ICT Engineer

About the Job

Responsibilities

• · Plan, deploy, configure and optimize broadband access, enterprise leased-line and wireless network projects;
• · Configure and maintain network core and access devices (routers, switches, firewalls, APs, OLT/ONT, etc.);
• · Monitor network performance, promptly troubleshoot and resolve faults to ensure availability and stability;
• · Provide technical support and on-site service to customers, handling broadband provisioning, commissioning, fault reporting and upgrades;
• · Maintain network topology, configuration documents and asset records; implement network security and backup policies;
• · Support site surveys, construction coordination and acceptance for new sites with the team.

Qualifications

• · Associate degree or above in Network Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science or a related field;
• · 1-3+ years of relevant network / ICT experience; ISP or telecom operator experience is preferred;
• · Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing & switching (OSPF/BGP), and wireless networking (Wi-Fi, WISP);
• · Able to independently install, configure and troubleshoot common network devices;
• · Good English communication skills for daily work; willing to work overseas / travel as needed;
• · Strong sense of responsibility, service awareness and teamwork.
