About the Job
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Project Manager - Civil Engineer to join our team onsite in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will oversee, plan, and execute construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, schedules, and budgetary requirements. This is a mid-level position ideal for someone with a solid foundation in civil engineering and project management, eager to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to contract specifications and set deadlines.
- Collaborate with architects, subcontractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure all work complies with safety regulations, codes, and company standards.
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports to stakeholders and resolve any emerging project issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proven knowledge of construction processes, materials, and engineering principles.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
