About the Job

Responsibilities

• Content (Core Focus)
• Create UGC-style content for TikTok, Reels, and Facebook
• Source and coordinate local creators
• Generate content ideas based on Kenyan trends
• Adapt scripts into natural local English and Kenyan slang
• Ensure content feels native, not foreign
• Influencer & Creator Coordination
• Identify and evaluate influencers on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
• Manage outreach and communication
• Coordinate content delivery and track basic performance
• Social Media & Community
• Respond to comments and messages on social platforms
• Moderate negative feedback professionally
• Collect customer insights, questions, and complaints
• App Reviews Management
• Monitor Google Play & App Store reviews
• Respond according to internal guidelines
• Flag recurring or critical issues
• Local Market Insights
• Track trends, memes, and content formats in Kenya
• Understand audience perception of fintech and lending
• Share insights on messaging, hooks, and offers
• Marketing & Operational Support
• Review creatives, copy, and campaigns for local relevance
• Support localization of landing pages and banners
• Assist in organizing content shoots and coordinating vendors/partners

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing (preferably in fintech or tech)
• Strong understanding of social media community management
• Understanding of influencer marketing
• Excellent communication and creativity skills (with strong grasp of local tone and slang)
