About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic - Changan Specialist Level 3 to join our team onsite in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Changan vehicles, demonstrate technical expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive systems, and ensure that all vehicles perform optimally to meet safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Changan vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and other essential components.
  • Utilize specialized tools and diagnostic equipment specific to Changan vehicles to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Inspect vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend preventive maintenance solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest Changan vehicle systems, repair techniques, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed service records and ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and above.
  • Mid-level experience (3-5 years) working as a Changan specialist or with similar automotive brands.
  • Strong expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex automotive systems, with a focus on Changan vehicles.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and repair tools relevant to the automotive industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Changan certification Level 3+ (Kenya trained)
