Cazini, a leading organization in the health industry based in Nairobi, Kenya, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Nurse to join our onsite medical team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring adherence to healthcare protocols and standards. This position is suited for a professional with mid-level experience and a bachelor's degree in Nursing who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and advancing healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to patients, ensuring compliance with medical and ethical standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and excellence.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of patient information in alignment with institutional policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a registered nurse, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Valid nursing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare protocols, regulations, and quality assurance standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
